On Saturday October 11, 2025, starting 12 noon, we’ll be at 206 Studios in Van Nuys, California. 206 owner Ben Burget and Vanguard Audio’s own Derek Bargaehr will be hosting a day of recording with some of LA’s finest session players.

LA veteran Producer/ Engineer/ Session Musician Ben Burget will be spinning the knobs and is particularly adept at hard funk, big band (and big R’n’B horn bands!) and jazz combo recording. He owns an extensive array of classic mics, and a pretty nice collection of Vanguard Audio examples. We’ll be bringing along our latest releases, the V24 stereo tube and V14 Variable-Voltage, as well as our updated V1 gen2 SDCs. Come by and hear our whole range of non-clone mics including the V4 FET, V44S Stereo FET and V13 tube.

Vanguard’s latest creations, the V14 and V24, both feature BeesNeez CK-12 capsules, Cinemag transformers, premium cryo-treated components, and a fresh interpretation on the classic Austrian designs of yesteryear by Vanguard Owner/Designer Derek Bargaehr.
